Perhaps those owners will also look forward to see their pets again.
The biege sundial has a soft, calming look, and the triangle shape is like a white sail, which is standing in front of the sea, carrying the dreams of emigration. Several recordings of the stories about the relationship between the owner and the pet are played inside the triangular sundial, telling the precious memories between them.
In the daytime, the installation works from the perspective of the pet owners. The 7 buttons on the floor represent the 7 states. When each button is pressed, there are some bells ringing, producing beautiful sounds like a musical instrument. All roads lead to Rome, and when people emigrated to different places, there would always be a guiding bell in their heart.
We hope that the people who want to leave can have a place where they can calmly think about every decision they make. Either going out or staying in Hong Kong, we hope the audience and their pets can enjoy a quiet time together without worries.
